Michael and Sarah had been married for 25 years. They were both 45 and felt like they needed a new thrill in their lives. At work, Michael met James, who was also 45, and his wife Mary, who was 43. They quickly became good friends.

One night over dinner at a nice restaurant, the couples talked about their lives and noticed that they all had similar interests. During the conversation, the idea of swapping partners came up.
